Why Did Creating A Beautiful Home Become So complicating?
I wasn’t always a designer.
I was once the homeowner—excited to create a home our family would love, trusting the process would come together the way we imagined.
Instead, we experienced firsthand how quickly excitement could turn into frustration. Communication broke down. Details were overlooked. Decisions felt rushed. We invested time, money, and trust, yet the experience left us asking one question:
Why had this become the standard?
The more homeowners I met, the more I realized our story wasn’t unique.
People weren’t just looking for beautiful design. They were looking for someone who would truly listen. Someone who could connect the details, respect the investment they were making, communicate clearly, and create a home that felt as good to live in as it looked.
That became the foundation of River Jane.
