Hi, I’m Mia, the founder of River Jane & Co. My journey into interior design and construction began with an unexpected twist. Years ago, a contractor left my husband and me with an unfinished project and a lot of heartache. What could have been a disaster turned into a blessing in disguise—we rolled up our sleeves, handled all the construction and design ourselves, and eventually sold the property. That experience sparked a passion that grew into this thriving business, and we are so grateful to God for guiding us through every step of the way. Without Him, none of this would be possible.

I live on a ranch with my husband, a proud veteran and full-time contractor, and our five kids. As a mom, I deeply understand the importance of creating spaces that are not only beautiful but also functional and durable—spaces that truly work for a family. My personal style leans toward contemporary modern, but I also love exploring the unique character of different designs. In fact, I dream of having a home in every state, each reflecting its distinct charm and style.

Whether I’m working on a single room or a full-scale renovation, I pour my heart into every project. I often collaborate with my husband, whose dedication and expertise bring out the best in me. Together, we create seamless, stress-free experiences for our clients by blending design and construction into one cohesive process.
